Biomass Pellet Mill
Pellet mill is a machine that compresses wood materials into small pellets. These pellets serve as a renewable fuel source. The mill takes wood residues like sawdust, EFB and applies high pressure to shape them into pellets.

An EFB (Empty Fruit Bunch) pellet machine is a device used to process waste material generated by the palm oil industry. It converts fibrous EFBs into compact pellets, which have higher energy density and are easier to transport. These pellets can be used as a renewable fuel source in biomass power plants and heating systems, providing a sustainable alternative to fossil fuels. The EFB pellet machine helps palm oil mills reduce waste and generate additional revenue by tapping into the biomass pellet market.

An EFB (Empty Fruit Bunch) pellet machine is a specialized machine designed to convert the waste material produced by the palm oil industry, known as EFBs, into compressed pellets.
EFBs are the fibrous residue left behind after the extraction of palm oil from palm fruits. Instead of being discarded as waste, EFBs can be processed using an EFB pellet machine to create a valuable and versatile biomass product.
The process begins by feeding the EFBs into the machine, which then shreds them into smaller pieces. This shredding process helps to break down the fibrous material and prepare it for further processing.
Next, the shredded EFBs are sent through a drying system to reduce their moisture content. Lowering the moisture content is essential for ensuring the quality and stability of the resulting pellets.
Once dried, the EFBs are then fed into a pelletizing chamber within the machine. Through a combination of heat, pressure, and mechanical action, the EFB fibers are compressed into dense pellets. The pellets are typically cylindrical in shape and have a consistent size and density, making them easier to handle, store, and transport.
Some EFB pellet machines also include additional features such as pellet cooling and packaging systems. These features help to cool down the freshly formed pellets and package them in appropriate containers, ready for distribution.
